Samantha and Shawn
They say it’s good luck to get rain on your wedding day, and we’re sure Samantha and Shawn were feeling the good vibes on their special day. Dreamlife Photos and Videos (Melbourne) were incredibly excited to spend the blustery, yet exciting, April day with the love birds as they entered into the next chapter of their life.
Dreamlife met with Samantha before the festivities began to snag some bridal photos as she prepared for the day. The bride was such a good sport and was willing to pose for the camera as often as we asked. We especially loved the photos of Samantha and her bridesmaids as they dotingly helped her finish her look for the big event.
We followed Samantha to the elegant church where the ceremony was to be held. The stunning building was picturesque, but we couldn’t take our camera off the bride for one second. We especially loved the photos of Samantha as she was guided by umbrellas into the church! Of course, once inside we were mesmerized by the beautiful interior! The lighting was perfect for our wedding photography and seemed to complement every shot perfectly. By far, our favorite photo was the love birds greeting relatives as they made their way down the aisle as a married couple.
Surprisingly, as the ceremony concluded so did the rain! Dreamlife rushed to grab some extra wedding photography of the couple before they had to leave for the reception. The elegant church made a great background for their couple poses and the wind offered a helping hand at gently blowing the bride’s veil for a stunning effect! We also fell in love with the group shot of the wedding party playing with umbrellas as the newlyweds kissed.
After we’d snapped away at the couple for a bit we packed up and headed to the reception. Here, we were in for a night of fun candid wedding photography! Everyone was in high spirts which made it a blast to capture all of the smiling faces. Of course, we did favor the absolutely stunning shots of man and wife sharing their first dance. The night was entirely unforgettable for all that took part in it and we hope the newlyweds have an abundance of special memories!
