Dreamlife Photos and Videos (Melbourne) was keen to spend the day with Lisa and Nectar. The two lovebirds were all positive energy and smiles as we worked together to create beautiful wedding photography for their January ceremony.

Before the day began we stopped by to capture a few photos of Nectar as he prepared for the service. The groom was more than happy to let us photograph him while he worked on his tie which made a great candid photo. However, the photo of him dressed and eagerly awaiting the big moment is totally priceless.

After a brief visit with Nectar we stopped by to see our lovely bride, Lisa. We couldn’t wait to get a start on her bridal photos and used her time with the makeup artist to get started. Dreamlife loved capturing image after image of Lisa as she couldn’t help but smile with excitement. We especially fell in love with the photo of her proud parents lifting her veil over her face as Lisa grinned from ear to ear.

We soon found ourselves at Springvale Greek Orthodox Church where the ceremony took place. As the bride began to walk down the aisle with her father, we couldn’t resist their cheeky smiles! With the ceremony in full swing we couldn’t help but add in the beautiful elements of the church which created a special charm to each and every photo. Of course, some of the guests were too adorable not to capture as we melted when we saw the little boy sleeping through the ceremony. Bride and groom were flawless as they said their vows and shared their first kiss, but our absolute favorite photo is the couple happily leaving the church as man and wife!

With Nectar and Lisa officially husband and wife, we left to capture a little more wedding photography. Dreamlife was over the moon when we found a bench romantically facing the city. As bride and groom sat down we knew the image would soon become our favorite. With the stunning tree framing the photo and the amazing lighting, this scene simply took our breath away! We also grabbed a few more photos of the couple as they posed in front of a vintage building and enjoyed an affectionate walk together in a field.

Soon, we made our way to Carousel Albert Park where the couple’s reception was in full swing. Everyone was excited to greet the newlyweds with toasts which made the evening all the more amazing. Dreamlife had a great time capturing all of the responses to the speeches, which created some fantastic candid images! We also adored the beautiful cake the couple picked out and how much fun they had as they cut into it as husband and wife. With such wonderful memories to share, we’re sure the couple will adore telling stories while presenting their wedding photography in the years to come.
