Dreamlife Photos and Videos (Brisbane) were in absolute awe over the beauty of Melissa and Jonathan’s October wedding. The couple were a blast to photograph and were sure to show everyone the love they share for each other on their special day.

Getting a behind the scenes look is always a great way to start off our wedding photography. Jonathan and his groomsmen were a riot to photograph as they joked and enjoyed the final moments of prep time. The game controller cuff links Jonathan added to his ensemble made us smile and created a perfect image to set the tone for the day. We were lucky enough to get the guys to settle down and take a group shot before prep time was over.

We also got to step into the action as Melissa prepared to stun her future husband. The vibe here was warm and loving as Melissa’s family and bridesmaids lent a helping hand to the bride. These candid moments made great bridal photography we’re sure Melissa will admire for years to come. Dreamlife couldn’t get over the beauty of the bride in her dress, so we made sure to capture plenty of photos of all the fine details.

When it was time for the ceremony we met back up at St. Stephen’s. This church provided a stunning environment for wedding photography. With the angles, lighting and colors of the church, every shot seemed to be the perfect moment to capture. Dreamlife especially fell in love with the photos of the lovebirds sharing their first kiss.

After the vows were said and man and wife were official, Dreamlife whisked them away for some extra wedding photography at Links Hope Island. The golf course proved to be an incredible place to have a little fun and capture it on camera! Bride and groom were both a blast to work with and seemed to move from photo to photo naturally!

Once we’d had our fun we headed to the reception hall to finish off the magical day. The room was filled with soft lighting that made our wedding photographs even better. One of our favorite aspects of the reception was the couple’s amazing Eifel Tower cake! We also loved capturing the guests dancing, chatting, giving speeches and generally having the time of their lives!
