February was definitely filled with even more love than usual! Dreamlife Photos and Videos (Melbourne) was excited to help Melissa and Stephen celebrate their union by capturing their wedding photography.

Dreamlife started the day off a little early in order to capture some pre-wedding photos of the lovebirds. We started with Stephen and his groomsmen who mastered the art of getting ready in unison for the camera! Melissa’s family and bridesmaids were ready to help her in any way possible. We loved capturing candid images of the lovely bride as her family aided her with the smaller details of her ensemble. These bridal photos will warm the heart almost as much as the photo of the bride kissing her father on the cheek before leaving for the ceremony.

Before we left for the St Mary Star of the Sea, where the ceremony was to be held, Dreamlife captured a few photos of the bride and her bridesmaids in front of the retro white car the bride was to make her appearance in. When we arrived at the church the wedding photographer was wowed by the stunning lighting, stain glass and ambiance of the church. From the adorable photos of the flower girl to the couple’s first kiss as man and wife, Dreamlife was proud to be able to capture such an incredible service.

After the union was official we met with the newlyweds at the Park Hyatt where the reception was hosted. We were able to capture a few photos of man and wife before the guests arrived which proved to create an elegant look thanks to the impeccable lighting. We also made sure to get a photo of the wedding party’s men in the wine cellar! As the night progressed we had a lot of fun capturing the speeches, cutting of the cake and dancing. However, our favorite part of the evening was the throwing of the bouquet and garter. We can’t help but smile at the intense photos of the guests going after the prize and hope the newlyweds feel the same way about the entire night!
