A wedding in Decemeber is always something to look forward to! Dreamlife Photos and Videos (Melbourne) were on pins and needles to get started on Robyn and Charles’ wedding photography. With their lovely smiles and beautiful venue choices, any wedding photographer would have been ready to take on the lovely couple’s big day!

We began the special occasion with Robyn as she primped for her moment to shine. Dreamlife had a lot of fun working with the lovely bride and her bridesmaids as we captured a series of candid photos of the group. We especially loved the bridal photos of Robyn getting her makeup applied as her bridesmaids happily watched in their matching robes. Everyone seemed to be all laughs which made the candid photos amazing. Of course, when Robyn appeared in her elegant gown all jaws were on the floor!

With all the fun being had, it seemed like we were only there minutes before we had to pack up and leave for their wedding destination. Robyn was whisked away in a classic car and we all reunited at a lovely church which provided us with a stunning background and perfect lighting. The ceremony had so many beautiful moments to capture, but we were especially enthralled with the moment Charles saw his bride for the first time. His face was absolutely classic and we won’t soon forget it! We also loved capturing photos of the audience who were up to their own wedding photography on their phones. As the ceremony came to an end we got a few more shots of the couple signing their marriage certificate with big smiles on their faces!

After the service was over we met with bride and groom at a quiet location in order to get a few more photos with them and their wedding party. Dreamlife had a lot of fun posing the couple in front of their classic car, but we really swooned over the photo of man and wife on the bridge. We also made sure to show off the couple’s fun side as they posed with their wedding party. We couldn’t get over the hilarious photo of the group using a selfie stick to snap a photo! Of course, the photo they took made us laugh even harder!

When we’d finished up with our post ceremony photo-session we left to reunite the lovebirds with their guests. We started the reception out by the poolside as everyone enjoyed a few cocktails and merrily chatted the afternoon away. After a bit, we all moved indoors for food, speeches and dancing. The speeches were one of the most touching aspects of the evening as Robyn’s reactions were absolutely priceless. Of course, the look the newlyweds gave one another as they met on the dance floor was enough to melt our hearts. It was such a joy to see the couple’s happiness and we hope they relive the same feeling each time they browse through their wedding photography!
