Samantha and Robert
January proved to be an outstanding month for Samantha and Robert’s wedding photography! The lovely couple were a joy to work with as their love for one another shined through in each and every photo we captured of them!
Dreamlife started out the day with Robert as he gathered his thoughts and prepared for the big moment. We especially loved capturing a photo of the groom’s unique gun cufflinks which were complemented by his groomsmen’s bullet cuff links. After meeting with Robert we left to spend some time with Samantha as she prepared for her wedding debut. The bride was a lot of fun to capture as she was pampered by her outstanding makeup artist. Of course, some of our favorite bridal photos were of Samantha’s bridesmaids helping her finish off her look. We also melted over the gorgeous photo of Samantha as her mother placed down her veil! Once the bride was dressed we made sure to capture a few glamour shots too.
With bride and groom prepared for the service we left for the Holy Spirit Church in Carnes Hill. The church was beautiful to capture and we especially loved the adorable children’s choir which added a special touch to the ceremony. As soon as the bride stepped foot oto the aisle we couldn’t help but shoot away at her gorgeous smile and her dad’s expression of pride for his little girl. Dreamlife fell in love with the photo of bride and groom placing rings on one another’s hands, but we also couldn’t get over the happiness captured as man and wife made their way back down the aisle as newlyweds!
After the ceremony was over we made sure to gather all of the guests together so we could get a picture of everyone in front of the beautiful church. The lovely skies seemed to be waiting for the special moment which helped bring out the beauty shared between the loved ones. Dreamlife then whisked the wedding party away for some extra wedding photography before the reception began. We found an amazing area of vintage buildings which helped create the perfect backdrop for each of our photos. Everyone was fun to work with so there was an assortment of fun poses as well as many romantic photos!
We soon found ourselves out of time, so we left for Le Montage for the reception. The reception venue was filled with beautiful lighting and wonderful hardwood floors that made the wedding photographer pleased! With everyone on the dance floor we made sure to capture as many candid photos as possible. We especially fell in love with bride and groom’s first dance as well as the dance the bride shared with her father. Of course, one of our favorite moments was Robert’s speech to his lovely new wife and each of her responsive expressions! We hope our wedding photography helps keeps the special memories fresh for decades to come!
